Pic: Google A DERELICT Halesowen convenience store looks set to be transformed into a vets and dog grooming salon - if plans get the thumbs up. A proposal has been submitted to convert the former Woodman convenience store on Bromsgrove Road into a vets and salon, with three flats above. The plan is from K9 Vets, based on Wolverhampton Road in Oldbury. A design and access statement notes that the building opened in the 1960s as a pub, before being converted into a shop with a separate off licence in the 90s. The off-licence was later converted into a hairdressers.
