The new policy, which Adams is expected to announce during his upcoming State of the City address Thursday, involves the creation of a so-called Apprentice Accelerator and aims to not only increase the number of apprenticeship postings, but also broaden the scope of those offerings to include more tech opportunities, like computer programming and information technology.
