“I wanted to carve my own path,” said Leanne Moussa, who earned a degree in political science at the University of Alberta. “I wasn’t really interested in going into business ... But, look at this?”
A new business networking event organized for women lived up to its name by giving this morning's attendees just the lift they needed to get on with their day feeling energized, motivated and ready to take on the world.
“I love our community, and meeting people at events in the city is the cherry on top,” said Sam Laprade, the host of the Breaking Bread Breaking Stigma fundraiser.
