AN ASSET management company has bought the site of the former Wrexham Wire company. Prime Property has acquired the former Wrexham Wire factory and its associated premises on Ash Road North on Wrexham Industrial Estate on behalf of retained clients. Wrexham Wire entered into administration in August of last year - with the loss of over 80 jobs. The new project has been named Wire 81, acknowledging its previous use and the size of the accommodation available, and is 81,580 sq ft in total. Known as Wire 81, the property sits on a 5.6-acre site on Wrexham Industrial Estate, east of the town centre.
