Xiaofei Chen from Sugar Land, Texas pled guilty to aggravated identity theft linked to a crypto scam.
A Sugar Land man has pleaded guilty to aggravated identity theft in connection with a scheme to fraudulently obtain and launder more than $500,000, the United States Department of Justice said.
Chen will be looking at a mandatory two year prison sentence for his involvement in the scam.
