BOSTON – A Canton woman was ordered to spend a year in prison after pleading guilty to helping a Hingham man defraud two Texas companies of more than $600,000. U.S. District Court Judge Mark Wolf sentenced Bintu Toure, 26,on Monday and ordered her to pay back $552,000 to seven individuals and companies. He ordered her to spend three years on probation after her release from federal prison. Toure pleaded guilty in January to charges of wire fraud and money laundering conspiracy.
