It’s time to get a positive out of a big negative. The Kansas City Royals haven’t been on the national radar for years, and with good reason. Since winning the World Series in 2015, it’s been a precipitous drop in the standings and national consciousness. But ahead of the four-day trip to Toronto to play the Blue Jays, the Royals have found their way back to the front page of sports sections around the country when 10 players were unable to travel to Canada because of their COVID-19 vaccination status.
