Virginia MOCA's latest exhibition is about "Nourishing" the soul, the land and each other
To nourish is to provide the food that is necessary for growth and health. It also means to listen, care and support one another. Virginia MOCA will debut newly created artworks in the "Nourish" exhibition, which opens Feb. 11. The museum commissioned 12 artists and partnered them with people in local food-connected industries or organizations including farmers, chefs, nutritionists, food justice and anti-hunger advocates.
