As one of Britain’s best chefs, Simon Gueller has a keen eye for detail and he put his transferable skill to good use when hunting for a home in his native Yorkshire.When he spotted a “for sale” sign on a detached, family-size house in a sought-after area of Ilkley while out cycling, he stopped to get a closer look.He declared the position perfect and after viewing the property with his wife, Rena, they cooked up a plan to make it their own.The couple got the keys to the door in 2010 and they and their children have enjoyed everything the house has to offer.
