In another attempt to discredit UNRWA amid the carnage in Rafah, Israeli parliament is set to hold a vote to designate the aid agency as a “terrorist organization.”
“Today was the first step on the way to completing the legislation so that UNRWA is finally outlawed," said Yisrael Beitenu MK Yulia Malinovsky, who initiated the bill.
The same bill, which comes in light of evidence suggesting UNRWA employees' links to Hamas, will abolish the immunities and privileges gifted to UNRWA employees.
The bill, introduced by MK Yulia Malinovsky, passed with a 42-6 majority on Wednesday. It seeks to abolish the immunities and privileges currently enjoyed by UNRWA employees
