Author Reid Forgrave joins Charity Nebbe to talk about his book "Love, Zac: Small-Town Football and the Life and Death of an American Boy." It tells the tragic story of Indianola's Zac Easter and the negative impact of CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy). State Representative Brooke Boden recently helped pass a bill out of the Human Resources Committee to provide resources for the care of brain injury in children. Boden tells KNIA News the bill is one that is important for Indianola and Warren County residents, and something she prioritised this session. “We know that Zac Easter passed away from brain injury and what that did to him.
