More electric car charging points will be installed on motorways
More electric charging points will soon be built on motorways and anyone with a contactless card will be able to access them, new government plans outline. The Department for Transport has confirmed it aims to have at least six high powered open-access chargepoints at every motorway service area in England by 2023. This will increase to at least 2,500 high powered chargers across the strategic road network by 2030 and 6,000 by 2035.
