That's nearly a quarter of the student body with a grade point average between 3.5-3.99 for the fall semester. An additional 930 students were named to the President's List for achieving a 4.0 GPA during the fall semester. After posting a fifth-place finish in the 200-meter dash on Friday, Coastal sophomore Melissa Jefferson raced to a first-place finish in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.51 in the finals heat after matching her personal-best mark of 7.49 in the prelims.

CCU was led by a first-place finish in the women’s 3000-meter run by freshman Sydney Swanker and a win by freshman Jermaisha Arnold in the 400-meter run. Melissa Jefferson recorded two second-place finishes in the women’s 60-meter and 200-meter dash while the Chants also picked up a pair of third-place finishes by Arnold in the 200-meter dash and freshman Isabelle Gulick in the 3000-meter run.
