The virus is changing, and we also need to change. We need to adjust our collective attitude to Covid-19 in Europe. In most of the western world, Covid-19 has been treated like a natural calamity such as a major flood. A flood is something we cannot control, because it is caused by the weather. We endure it, and mitigate for the damage caused. We live with floods when we have to, and it would be ridiculous to expect any government to deliver a 'Zero Flood' policy.
