Welcome to the first SwitchArcade Special of 2024. It has been almost two years since Shaun wrote about the best shoot 'em ups (or shmups) on Switch, and a lot has changed since then, mostly for the better.
The virus is changing, and we also need to change. We need to adjust our collective attitude to Covid-19 in Europe. In most of the western world, Covid-19 has been treated like a natural calamity such as a major flood. A flood is something we cannot control, because it is caused by the weather.
