A military vehicle belonging to Military Council Division 33 was attacked with a series of landmines by local defence forces, near the Monywa to Mandalay highway in Sagaing Township, on 17 January, according to reports from Zero Guerrilla Force.
The NUG Ministry of Defence announced on Tuesday that the military junta had knowingly carried out nearly 200 air strikes on civilians, killing nearly 160 innocent people.
On the morning of 11 November, the local people’s defence forces attacked the Military Council soldiers who were guarding the Myanma Economic Bank in Sagaing’s Myinmhu Township with grenades, killing five military personnel and injuring one, according to Zero Guerrilla Force.
