Share Despite a 26-point night from Zoe Sedo, the Lions saw their tremendous season come to an end on Friday night. The Foundation Academy girls basketball team bowed out of postseason play with a 64-38 loss to City of Life Christian Academy in the Class 2A, Region 3 final Friday, Feb. 19. After a close first quarter of play, the Warriors (14-6) stretched out their lead to double digits before going into the half up 29-18. A big part of the first-half points for the Lions (15-8) came from freshman guard Zoe Sedo, who scored 11 points in the half. Sedo would go on to rack up a game high 26 points on the night making up 68.4% of the Lions total points while also recording six rebounds and a steal. ....

West Orange High junior wide receiver/corner Jayden Gibson received some big news last weekend following his outstanding performance at the Pylon Orlando 7 on 7 Tournament. After scoring 11 touchdowns during the two-day tournament for the Orlando-based Certified Dawgs team, Gibson who has offers from more than 20 Division 1 programs was invited to play in the prestigious 2022 Under Armour All-American Game.
