Pixar’s Bay Area roots run deep. Even for a film like “Coco,” which takes place in Mexico during the holiday Dia de Muertos, the Emeryville-based animation studio still finds as much inspiration as they can close to home. For their latest feature “Soul” (premiering on Dec. 25 on Disney+), the company looked to a small mom-and-pop tailoring shop in Berkeley called Advanced European Tailoring. ....
