Nigerian lecturers in the Benin and Togo Republics have lent their support to the ongoing investigation by the Nigerian government to fish out illegal degrees and culpable institutions, noting that students and parents should allow calm. The body of lecturers situated at Lot A/1 Finagnon, Zone des Ambassades, Akpakpa, Cotonou in a release issued and signed by its President, Gabriel Kona, FCS and Allen Michael the General Secretary respectively implored the public to desist from spreading untrue stories about Benin and Togo, dragging the entire university system to the mud.
