West Fargo assistant principal left scene of DUI crash, investigation says


through a public records request shed more light on what happened.
According to those documents, Schleicher told school officials he went to the Pour House in Fargo around 8 p.m. Friday. He left the bar around midnight after drinking alcoholic beverages, the documents said.
The internal investigation did not reveal how many drinks he had.
“Mr. Schleicher stated that, while driving, he glanced down at his phone, swerved off the road and crashed into the trees on the side of the road, causing injury to himself,” the internal investigation summary said.
The district documents redacted specifics about Schleicher’s injuries, as well as information that he said caused him stress. ....

Former West Fargo Teacher Charged With Luring a Minor Online


(West Fargo, ND) We now know what exactly led to a former Sheyenne and West Fargo High School teacher s resignation February 2nd..
West Fargo PD, along side representatives from Cass County State Attorney and the school district, announced that 58-year-old Ron Thompson attempted to solicit a minor online.
To their knowledge so far, no one in the West Fargo Schools was the target of the attempt, rather it was Thompson attempting to contact an underaged person out of state. 
Authorities say they got a tip from an out of state Internet Crime Agency that Thompson had been in contact with one of their agents, who was posing as a minor. ....

Fargo Schools Air Force JROTC Program Not In Danger


(Fargo, ND) A phrase to sum up the current state of Fargo Schools Air Force JROTC program is concern, but confidence.
That s the message from Colonel Steven Muhs, an instructor in the program, when he talked with our Kyle Cornell about the state of the program amid rumors it may be nearing it s final legs.

FARGO, N.D.  After North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum announced reduced restrictions for businesses and the halt of the statewide mask mandate, some people in the community are unsure whether or not we are ready to move forward.
“The statewide mask mandate to expire at 8 am January 18th,”
Gov. Doug Burgum said.
As COVID-19 cases are reduced with implemented precautionary guidelines, Governor Burgum says we are ready to move forward with reduced restrictions, but people in the community say we might not be ready.
“I don’t think we’re ready to have no masks yet, if we look at other countries and how they went about with covid, they all wore masks and they stayed inside for a long period of time because they quarantined for so long and because of how much they wear masks and we’re not, we still have lots and lots of cases so I don’t think we’re there as ....
