Farnworth Cricket Club THE boss of an upcoming music festival in Farnworth says the event will hopefully allow things to move forward with a bang post lockdown. Farnworth Live, billed as the area’s first-ever music festival, will be held at Farnworth Cricket Club, in Lavender Road. And after a lengthy delay due to the pandemic and ongoing lockdown restrictions, Gary Daniels hopes the event can be a big occasion for locals. The event is due to finally go ahead on Saturday, July 10, with a host of top tribute artists on the bill. They include Elton John, Tina Turner, Lionel Richie and Spice Girls acts. ....
