PETALUMA, CA The Petaluma Police Department arrested a man Sunday in connection with a suspected kidnapping and domestic violence incident at the Washington Square Shopping Center.
Officers were sent at 3:09 p.m. to the shopping center on South McDowell Boulevard to investigate a report that a man physically assaulted a woman, then forced her into his car, Petaluma police Sgt. Patrick Gerke said.
The witness told police the man drove off with the victim. The witness also described the car and provided police with a license plate number, Gerke said. ....
