Organizers say they learned a lot from the Lilac Festival, and they expect Canal Days to feel similar to the Lilac Festival in terms of volume and vendors. I couldn t be happier to be here with the festival organizers to welcome back the 44th annual Fairport Canal Days and really urge this community to get vaccinated, said County Executive Adam Bello at a press conference Friday morning. If you haven’t gotten the COVID-19 vaccine yet, you will have an opportunity to get the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine at the festival this weekend. You do not need an appointment and the clinic will be held in the municipal parking lot at the corner of Lift Bridge Lane and South Water Street.
