A nine-year-old girl has been allegedly murdered at Manhean in the Ga West Municipality.
Naana Sekyiwaa, the deceased, was declared missing a day before her body was found lying in an uncompleted building on January 21, 2021 noon. This has led to the arrest of a 35-year- old man in connection with the murder.
Suspect Stephen Donkor, according to information, was spotted walking with the girl the day she disappeared from the house. He is currently with the Amasaman Police assisting with their investigations.

Policeman, 3 others arrested for allegedly selling fake gold to an American citizen

The others are Kwabena Ofori, Joshua Boateng and one other identified as Kueey.
An accomplice, who is yet to be identified, is currently on the run.
The suspects after defrauding the victim were in the process of escaping with the money when the victim with the help of other drivers caused their arrest at a location at Dzorwulu.
According to reports, on January 14, 2021, around 12:30 pm, the complainant who is an American, met suspect Kueey, who claimed to be a local miner from Akwatia in the Eastern Region at Palace Chinese Restaurant located at Dzorwulu.
The source said in the course of their conversation, the victim told the suspect that he needed gold to buy for some business purposes. ....

His mother lives in Nyabeman, a community near Satellite in the Ga West Municipality.
On August 23, 2019, Kwesi was arrested by the Accra Regional Police Command for having in his possession a mobile phone.
Apparently, the said phone belonged to a victim who was robbed at gunpoint at her residents at Gbawe recently.
But Kwesi claim he did not take part in the said robbery but bought the phone at Nkrumah Circle, a hub for second hand phone dealers for personal use.
The police did not believe his story because, an evidence of the said robbery has been found in his possession. ....
