Pianist Vicki Carr will perform classic Ragtime favorites in the Music Room of the historic P. J. Ahern Home, 403 Laurel Street. Refreshments will be served and guests will be able to view a special exhibit honoring African-American Ragtime composers such as Texarkana s own, Scott Joplin.
This performance that the Texarkana Museum Systems has put together for everyone in helping celebrate Black History Month . The performance will take place at the  PJ Ahern home from 6 pm until 8 pm. Refreshments will be served and guests will be able to see a special exhibit honoring African-American Ragtime composers such as Texarkana s own, Scott Joplin. This is the 50th birthday of the Texarkana Museum Systems as well. ....
