CINCINNATI â The Occupational Safety and Health Administration released copies Tuesday of citations against a Detroit-based demolition contractor involved in the collapse of the Killen Generating Station in Adams County.
The release comes one day after the WCPO 9 I-Team reported that Adamo Demolition Company was fined $14,475 since the collapse of the power plant, which killed two people and injured three.
OSHA declined to release copies of the citations or reveal what was alleged in them prior to the publication of Mondayâs report. On Tuesday, an agency spokesman stressed that its investigation continues into the cause of the Dec. 9 collapse. ....

A Detroit-based demolition company is facing fines of $14,475 for the Dec. 9 collapse of the Killen power plant in Adams County, where two men were killed and three people were injured.
The Occupational Safety & Health Administration proposed two separate fines on Jan. 25 and Feb. 2 against Adamo Demolition Company, which is contesting both citations on which the fines are based, according to OSHA records. ....

The body of a missing worker has been located 30 days after a power station collapsed in Ohio.The body of Jaimie Fitzgerald, 47, was found this week, officials with the Adamo Demolition Company said Friday. “The loved ones and immediate family of Jamie Fitzgerald have been notified that he has been located at the Killen Generating Station site in Adams County, Ohio. First responders and federal officials have also been notified. Crews from the Adamo Group are currently working to safely recover him. More information will be announced as it becomes available,” a news release said.Fitzgerald had been missing under the rubble since Dec. 9.Fitzgerald was working as a contractor at the site, helping to demolish a building.Officials said the building was in the middle of a demolition when it collapsed.
