OLI Receives Posner Foundation Grant Renewal

Operation Lifesaver will use 2021 funding from the Posner Foundation of Pittsburgh to help support an expanded rollout of its new Railroad Investigation and Safety Course (RISC), among other initiatives.
The Posner Foundation of Pittsburgh has renewed its grant funding for Operation Lifesaver, Inc.’s (OLI) U.S. rail safety education campaigns.
Specifically, the 2021 funds will support a competitive grant program for public education activities conducted by OLI state programs; state educational materials; and an expanded rollout of OLI’s new Railroad Investigation and Safety Course (RISC). The Foundation also provided grants in 2019 and 2020, which supplemented state program funding for OLI rail safety initiatives and helped expand national rail safety volunteer efforts, for example. ....
