THE FLATS – Georgia Tech baseball put on a complete performance when it needed it most, downing North Carolina 10-6 to win the series and capture its second-straight ACC Coastal Division Championship on Saturday afternoon at Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium.

Austin Wilhite combined for big at-bats and big defensive plays, finishing a combined 4-for-8 with four RBI and a double between them.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Coastal Carolina baseball powered its way out to an early 3-0 lead with three early home runs and then used nine pitchers to strike out 14 North Carolina hitters in a 6-3 midweek road win on Tuesday night in Chapel Hill, N.C.
All nine Coastal pitchers recorded at least one strikeout on the night and not one of the nine Chanticleer arms threw more than 1.2 innings over the nine-inning road win. ....

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - No. 18 North Carolina scored five runs in the first inning on its way to a 5-3 victory over Clemson at Boshamer Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Tar Heels, who swept the series 3-0, improved to 10-4 overall and 6-3 in the ACC. The Tigers fell to 5-8 overall and 1-5 in ACC play.
Dylan Brewer blasted a two-run homer, his second of the year, in the top of the first inning, then the Tar Heels responded with five runs in the bottom of the first inning, keyed by Clemente Inclan’s two-run homer and run-scoring doubles by Danny Serretti and Tomas Frick. The Tigers scored a run in the eighth inning on a bases-loaded walk by Brewer. ....
