CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Saturday was Healthy Kids Day at the Hamilton YMCA, giving a preview of what kids can expect this summer at camp.
“We have multiple options for parents this summer to consider. we have summer daycare options summer resident options and a hybrid which is right in-between you can do a summer day camp with an optional overnight or two,” said Kimberly Munafo of Greater Miami Valley YMCA. ....

Mary Irby Jones has been named editor of the Clarion Ledger Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020.
Mary Irby-Jones, a veteran journalist who stresses community outreach, was named the top editor of The Courier Journal on Tuesday.
She said it will be an “honor” to become executive editor of the news organization, which has earned 11 Pulitzer Prizes, including one for breaking news in 2020.
“The Courier Journal has a long, well-deserved reputation of producing compelling and award-winning journalism,” Irby-Jones said. “I am excited to build upon its groundbreaking work and for the opportunity to engage with the Louisville community.” ....

FAIRFIELD, Ohio â Fairfield hired a familiar face as its newest assistant city manager.
Scott Timmer, who has worked in Fairfield s finance department since 2016, was selected for the job, acting city manager Don Bennett announced on Friday.
Named finance director in 2018, Timmer has been very involved in the day-to-day operations of the City as well as labor relations with the Cityâs four unions, according to the announcement. ....
