Anthony Clinic was a few miles away from our convent and although busy with streams of patients, Dr Anthony would assure us that we could come over whenever we phoned to say we had somebody; a sister, staff or a resident in our centre who was needing to see the doctor. ....
Physicians from the St. Anthony and McFarland Clinics along with staff from Carroll County Public Health will be recording a joint educational discussion to provide the latest information on vaccinations, statistics and long-term health issues for some who had COVID. St. Anthony Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Kyle Ulveling, will moderate the discussion and be joined on the panel by Dr. John Evans of the McFarland Clinic, Dr. Mark Collison with the St. Anthony Clinic and RN, BSNs with Carroll County Public Health, Director Nicole Schwering and Sara Schulte. St. Anthony Regional Hospital announced today (Monday) the beginning of a partnership with Siouxland Urology Associates P.C. to begin providing urology services at their campus in Carroll. Dr. Adam Althaus from the Siouxland-based group of specialists will begin seeing patients at the St. Anthony Clinic on May 10 th. Dr. Althaus is trained in a variety of fields, including: general urology, robotic surgeries, female incontinence and prolapse surgery, voiding dysfunction, men’s health, kidney stone disease and pediatric urology. However, his chief area of interest is in genitourinary malignancies, such as kidney, bladder and prostate cancer. For the second time since the early 2020 onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the St. Anthony Clinic, McFarland Clinic and Carroll County Public Health will partner in a virtual town hall meeting. The subject for the Monday, Jan. 18 meeting will focus on the COVID-19 vaccination process. The livestreamed discussion will begin at 5:30 p.m. on the St. Anthony Regional Hospital website, a link to which is included below.
