A Kuemper alum and his wife, an Iowa native, presented a charitable gift in support of the St. Anthony Regional Cancer Center. On Monday, John and Kate Strautman of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. initiated the gift to the Strautman Family Endowment through the St. Anthony Foundation. “We are very grateful for the continued opportunity to give back to the Carroll community and support the St. Anthony Regional Cancer Center, which we feel will be one of the best, not only in western Iowa, but the entire state,” the Strautman’s said in a statement. “We are blessed to help in a small way and touch the lives of many patients and families facing the challenges of a cancer diagnosis.
