ANTHONY The Egin Lakes Campground will open at 8 a.m. on April 28 for the 2021 season. The campground is managed by the Bureau of Land Management’s Idaho Falls District Office and has 48 campsites with electric hookup, shelter, picnic table/fire ring, dump station and access to potable water. The campsites are first-come, first-served and provide OHV enthusiasts direct access to the St. Anthony Sand Dunes. 08/04/2021 - 18:14 News stories A large batch of critical COVID-19 health supplies donated by Germany, the European Union and UNDP in the framework of the RPPP programme (Regional Programme Support to Pandemic Prevention in the ECOWAS Region) arrived in Freetown from Nigeria on Tuesday 6 April 2021. Since the launch of the RPPP programme in 2016, it has been implemented by GIZ and has contributed to the fight against COVID-19 and national preparedness against Ebola in West Africa. The consignment, which consists of aprons, gloves, boots, masks, test kits, consumables and other medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators, is the second one flown in by ECOWAS through the West African Health Organisation (WAHO) as part of the organisation’s mandate to support ECOWAS States in their national health response. In total, medical supplies worth over $18 million are being distributed to 15 West Africa countries. ....

Eastern Idaho company to change business practices following Attorney General investigation MGN Online ST, ANTHONY (KIFI) - Attorney General Lawrence Wasden has announced a court’s approval of a settlement agreement with S & R Leavitt, LLC, d/b/a PMS Dune Rentals, a company that rents recreational vehicles (UTVs/ATVs) at the St. Anthony Sand Dunes. The settlement includes Reynold Leavitt, who manages day-to-day operations at PMS Dune Rentals. The Attorney General’s Consumer Protection investigation began in June 2020 and was based on multiple consumer complaints. They addressed allegedly damaged vehicles, unnecessary repairs made to the allegedly damaged vehicles and a lack of itemized billing or work orders for the purported repairs. ....
