Vaccination clinics across Aberdeenshire have been closed temporarily as the focus of the rollout is moved to care homes.
Work at all seven sites across the region has been paused, with vaccinators instead focusing on delivering second doses to care home staff and residents.
The closures also coincide with the nationwide slowdown of vaccine supplies, as second doses need to be administered.
Six of the seven clinics will be closed until Wednesday, with the Huntly premises reopening Monday after being shut for seven days. ....

Eight coronavirus vaccination centres to open in Aberdeenshire
Plans for coronavirus vaccination centres across Aberdeenshire are being finalised.
NHS Grampian and Aberdeen Health and Social Care Partnership will be operating the centres in Macduff, Fraserburgh, Peterhead, Ellon, Inverurie, Huntly, Alford, Banchory and Stonehaven.
The clinics in Huntly and Alford will rotate week by week, with all others operating every week. In addition, work is ongoing to secure a mobile unit, to take vaccinations to some of the most rural communities.
Appointments are already being scheduled for all centres, and people in the 75-79 age bracket should start to receive their appointment letters in the coming days. ....

The number of positive Covid cases at Edenholme care home in Stonehaven has increased by 13 to 27.
This new figure was confirmed by the Incident Management Team who met today to discuss outbreaks in both Edenholme and Inchmarlo House care home in Banchory.

This is due to investigations from Test and Protect finding some cases initially linked to the care home were now not thought to be linked.
There were also cases that were counted twice.
A spokeswoman for the IMT said: “There are currently 101 detected cases of Covid-19 associated with the outbreak at Inchmarlo House Care Home. ....
