CommQuest board selects Reolfi as president, CEO


CANTON – A longtime community volunteer and former TimkenSteel vice president has been selected to lead CommQuest Services.
The agency s board announced this week that Elaine Russell Reolfi will serve as president and chief executive officer effective immediately.
Reolfi replaces Keith Hochadel, who is leaving CommQuest after 11 years in leadership roles.
George Urban, president of CommQuest’s board, said in the press release announcing the change that Reolfi is a business leader who can help CommQuest meet challenges and provide hope for community members who rely on the agency.
“Our mission has never been more important to the community, and with CommQuest’s continued growth, our business challenges have never been greater,” Urban said in the release. ....

Fire Chief Tracy Hogue to retire in March

JACKSON TWP. Fire Chief Tracy Hogue is preparing for another step in his career, a career he has wanted since a young age.
He is retiring effective March 12.
Hogue’s success started as a volunteer firefighter in 1976 before coming a paid firefighter/paramedic in 1985. From there, he was promoted to captain in 1997. He then became captain of the Fire Prevention Bureau in 2001 before he was appointed Fire Chief on March 12, 2011. He will be retiring exactly 10 years from the day he was appointed chief at 4:30 p.m. on March 12.
“My parents told me I wanted to be a firefighter from a young age and my retiring this year is a pension required retirement at my age,” wrote Hogue. “I decided to apply for the fire chief’s job after Fire Chief Ted Heck announced his retirement. I had worked under him for 35 years and felt I could keep the department running and continue to build and improve on the foundation he had ....
