Father Downie Memorial Blood Drive is Saturday
The vaccine is here.but that doesn t mean the work is done.  Far from it.  If you ve had COVID here s a great thing you may be interested in.  They re doing a blood drive this weekend.  This is going to help those who are struggling with the virus and give them a chance a quicker recovery.
For those of you who ride, you probably remember Father Arley Downie at the Annual ABATE of Iowa District 21 Bike Blessing in downtown Fulton.  He did that for an amazing 30 years before passing away in 2020r.
His daughter, Julie, is taking this horrible situation and making the best of it.  She s putting on another blood drive in her fathers honor. ....
