Lubbock's Buddy Holly Hall's new dining experience unveiled

On Thursday, the United Family held a ribbon cutting event for its new restaurant “Rave On” in Buddy Holly Hall.
The United Family joined with Lubbock Entertainment Performing Arts Association to create a unique experience where fine dining and world class performing arts will meet. Not only will the United Family be responsible for Rave On, but the company will also be in charge of all concessions and banquet service inside Buddy Holly Hall.
The restaurant is named after the song “Rave On” which was written by Sonny West and made popular by Buddy Holly in 1958.
Robert Taylor, CEO of the United Family, said the company has launched a national search to secure phenomenal talent to work on this project. When people step through the door, he said he hopes they see all of the time and energy the company has put in to making this a special place for Lubbock. ....

Rave On Opens Inside Buddy Holly Hall

Lubbock has another new restaurant, and this one is pretty unique.
Rave On is now open inside Buddy Holly Hall. The restaurant celebrated its Grand Opening Thursday (February 11th) with a ribbon cutting with the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce.
Rave On is a product of the United Family, which partnered with the Lubbock Entertainment Performing Arts Association to create a new and unique experience with fine dining and performing arts combining into a great night out.
The United Family launched a national search to find top talent to lead the project at Buddy Holly Hall according to a press release. Leading the project is Thomas Wicinski. ....
