Tommie Rachel (Thurman) Graham, 78 years young, of Ooltewah, passed away on April 24, 2021, peacefully surrounded by loved ones.
Tommie was born on Nov. 29, to the proud parents, Thomas and Leli Thurman in 1942. She married Andy J. Graham on Feb. 19 who was the love of her life. She was owned and operated Tommie’s Hair Care Centre for 32 years and honestly loved every minute of it. She was so passionate about people and their hair was her vehicle in to work with them to ensure that they were living the best life possible. She was an active member and president of the Chattanooga Cosmetologist Association. She was also heavily involved with the American Business Women Association where she held every position and always championed the scholarship program to help young girls attend college where without the support it might not have been possible. She attended Chamberlain Memorial Baptist Church.
Dorothy M. Booth, 85, passed away at her Lancaster home on Thursday, April 15, 2021. She was born in Strasburg Township to the late Harry L. and Fannie Viola (Peters) Westfall. She enjoyed 50 years of marriage with her husband Glenn E. Booth before his death in 2004.
A graduate of West Lampeter High School, Dottie first worked in retail. She then served as office manager for Ladder Towers, and in 1984 started Structural Fabrications and served as vice president. Next, Dottie worked in corporate sales at Eden Resort until retiring in 2015.
Dottie was very accepting of people, and she empowered women through her work in a man s world. She educated women in self-help to fashion to business finances. Dottie enjoyed lunches with clients and friends, and many clients became friends. She was a member of the American Business Women s Association, and Lancaster Chamber, and served on the Board of Directors of the S. June Smith Foundation.
Millard James ‘Jim’ Fountain Jr.
WILMINGTON A lifetime member of the Wilmington Regional Association of Realtors, Millard James “Jim” Fountain Jr., 87, passed away at 12:45 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021.
He was the husband of the beautiful Pearl Winner Fountain, and their marriage celebration of 66 years would have been in April. He was the proud dad of Diane Fountain and the “Pops” of Dr. Meares Green, Scientist Chaz Green (married to Nicole Harrison Green), and Dr. Bliss (Elizabeth) Green Leverette (married to Matthew Leverette). Bliss was born being the “Joy of his world.” He was the grandfather of William Fugazy (Dr. Heather) and Alexandra Fugazy and the great-grandfather of Penelope Marie Fugazy and William Alfred Fugazy. He was preceded in death by his dearly loved and missed son, Ricky Fountain.
