Liquidators brought in for Aussie travel group – Travel Weekly

An Australian travel company with multiple divisions appears to have taken its last breath, with liquidators appointed to wind up the group.
According to a notice issued by the Australian Securities & Investments Commission last week, Peter Gountzos and Michael Carrafa of SV Partners were appointed as joint liquidators for Extragreen Travel Group on 26 February.
The company describes itself as “unique with multiple in-house divisions” on its website, which was still live at the time of publishing.
With its head office in Melbourne, the group traded as travel agency Extragreen Holidays, which encompassed six retail stores across Victoria, Queensland and NSW. It also operated a wholesale brand, Amazing Vacations, along with a local tour operation called Melbourne’s Best Tours. ....
