We apologize for the short notification, but SaveOurBeach will be assisting a film crew headed by Amorette Jones in conjunction with Captain Charles Moore and the Algalita Organization as well as Josh Fox, Academy nominated director of Gasland, to create a film shot in documentary style, addressing the issue of plastics in the ocean. We offered to assist the film crew by reaching out to our volunteers to seek help. We will run this as we do all our cleanups providing gloves, bags, pickers and free parking (and community service for those that might need it), and the film crew will randomly be filming participants and taking a look at the trash that is collected.
