ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. - A middle school math teacher is among three people facing charges in a deadly shooting in Alachua County, deputies say.
A spokesperson with Marion County Public Schools says 30-year-old Martesha Johnson taught at Fort King Middle School.
We hired her in 2012 and she is on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the legal investigation and our internal investigation, Public Relations Director Kevin Christian said. This is normal procedure for any employee. She also has not been on the Fort King Middle campus for the last five weeks for personal reasons. ....
