Dr. Susan Grace Barfoot, a long-time resident of Montgomery County, was born August 24, 1946 and stepped into heavenly eternity December 21, 2020. She was welcomed home by those that went before her: mother, Elma Youngblood Barfoot; father, Woodrow Barfoot; older sister, Rebecca Barfoot Shifflett; her nephew, Matthew Blue; sister-in-law, Julia Williamson Barfoot and brother-in-law, Russell Shifflett. She leaves behind a large legacy of loved ones including her siblings: Paul Barfoot (Aline), Joel Barfoot (Sherry), John Barfoot (Gaye) along with her sister Kathy Barfoot Blue (Bubba) and countless nieces and nephews who adored every moment with her.
