We all love the weekend, right. For me one of the highlights is going for walks. Love to be out in the fresh air, and getting a little much needed exercise.  The dog sure loves it too. And that’s a bonus.  It’s a great time to casually chat with one’s spouse and forget about any stressful stuff going on and just enjoy the moment.
Yesterday the subject of work came up, of course, and I was saying that the hardest day for me to get up was Monday, because the hardest night to get to bed on time is Sunday.  The weekend mostly is a later bed time, so on Sunday it is sometimes a difficult transition back to going to bed so early, due to my need to get up so early for work.  But also, for who knows what reason, sometimes Tuesdays are the toughest day to get up and get going. ....

China s crackdown in Hong Kong has left Japanese finance firms very much afraid and reconsidering whether to remain in the city, a senior banker said Monday in a rare public declaration of concern from within the industry.
Yoshitaka Kitao, chief executive of financial conglomerate SBI Holdings, which runs Japan s largest online brokerage, told the Financial Times he was planning to pull his company s operations out of the southern Chinese city, arguing that without freedom, there is no financial business .
Other Japanese companies, he told the newspaper, were thinking about doing the same but were less willing to say so openly. ....

A Christchurch woman has had her tenancy terminated after she refused to let the landlord carry out an inspection, gathered so much debris it obstructed doorways, and removed smoke alarms.
Anna Gabrielle Scholefield was served with a 14-day notice after a routine house inspection on January 21, 2021 revealed a significant amount of rubbish and debris had accumulated in the property in a short space of time , a Tenancy Tribunal order explained. ....
