GFTW Hosts Second 'Love Your Neighbor' Donation Event This Week

This collection comes as a result of an increase in the number of people asking for help at local pantries and churches with food distributions.
“Several of our area partners who have feeding programs told us that the number of people they served in the last year has doubled or tripled,” Jeane Smiley-Mason, Gleaning’s president said.
Gleaning’s first Love Your Neighbor donation event was held in mid-February, but was cut short due to the wide-spread ice storm that left so many in the area without power.
The organization will be on-site at Sam’s Club on Wards Road March 16-18, and again on April 6-8. ....
