LAHORE:Governor Ch Muhammad Sarwar has said Pakistan and Uzbekistan have long and deep historical cultural ties and both countries are getting closer and closer with passage of time.
The governor met with Deputy Governor of Namangan region of Uzbekistan along with a 14-member delegation comprising deputy ministers of investment and foreign trade departments, senior officials and top businessman of Namangan region.
The meeting took place in Governor’s House. They agreed to promote cooperation in trade, economy, and culture and in other areas of common interest. Details revealed that the Inamov Okibjon, deputy governor of Namangan region of Uzbekistan, Abdullayev Nodirbek from ministry of investment and foreign trade, Muzaffar Abdug from ministry of economic development and other officials joined the meeting.
