Next week’s meeting of the Carroll Community School District (CCSD) Board of Education will be starting slightly earlier than usual. Superintendent, Dr. Casey Berlau, says the board has decided to move the regular superintendent evaluation this month to the beginning of the meeting instead of the end. The evaluation will be held in closed session, but the board is expected to return to open session at approximately 5:40 p.m. The first item of business will be the beginning of contract negotiations with the opening proposal from the Carroll Education Association (CEA). The district’s administrators will then present updates from their respective buildings, and the board will approve any pending donations and the personnel report. They will then host a second Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 work session and set a date for the public hearing.
