Pastor Regan King: ‘We are continuing our service of Islington’s most vulnerable and homeless’
CHURCHES are running food bank services over Christmas.
Pastor Regan King, from the Angel Church in Chadwell Street, also held a socially-distanced carol service this week.
“It was very special to hear shouts of Christmas wishes across the estates,” he said.
“People have had a rough year and are understandably battling distress, depression, and even anger at having a very special time seemingly ripped away.”
He added: “In addition to carolling, we are continuing our service of Islington’s most vulnerable and homeless alongside People’s Army Islington. If anyone is short of food they are welcome to come by our food bank.” ....
