Becci Bryant will end her career in October after 29 years of service.
She said:

The Chief Constable of Staffordshire Police has confirmed his decision to retire later this year.
Gareth Morgan has spent 33 years in policing, serving in his current role for the past four years.

Commissioner confirms Space programme will return for youngsters in Lichfield and Burntwood this summer

A programme of activities for young people in Lichfield and Burntwood will return this summer.
The Space scheme was relaunched in 2015 and has since gone on to provide hundreds of sessions in a range of areas across Staffordshire.
During the pandemic last year, the initiative continued to keep youngsters aged between 8 and 17 entertained.
Staffordshire Commissioner Matthew Ellis, who has set aside £180,000 to support Space, said he was determined to see young people enjoying activities again this summer.

People in Lichfield and Burntwood are being invited to have their say on the future of funding for police and fire services.
Staffordshire Commissioner Matthew Ellis said it was important the decision was based on the views of residents from across the county.

He said that the current financial climate meant the public needed to speak out on the issue.
“I try hard to keep the cost to local taxpayers down. Since I first set the local tax for policing in 2013, Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent have seen the second smallest increase of all 43 police force areas nationally. ....
