The town of Andover is partnering up with the school district to ensure voters are covered, rain or shine, for Town Meeting.
The Andover Town Meeting will be held at 9 a.m. on June 5Â outdoors in the field behind West Middle School on Shawsheen Road. That following Monday, June 7, the high school will host graduation under the same tent.
This Town Meeting will decide on issues including the 2022 budget, construction of a new elementary school, and the funding of the townâs pension liability.
Town Meeting will be held under a large tent to allow spaceÂ for social distancing. Voters are encouraged to wear masks, and masks will be provided to attendees who do not bring their own.Â If someone chooses not to wear a mask, theyÂ will be seated in a separate section.Â ....

On Thursday, Feb. 25, the Town Governance Study Committee will discuss potential methods of remote participation in Town Meeting to make it more accessible and convenient to residents.
