The scoreboard told the story of Sunday's Christy Ring Cup Final and, deep in the bowels of Croke Park's Cusack Stand, Derry joint manager Dominic McKinley said as much after the game.
"We were off the pace...it is self explanatory,” he began, referencing their superior touch and skill. “They controlled the airwaves as well with the puck outs and so on.”

Sunday (2.00) - Ballinascreen
A season that started with hopes of promotion to Division 2A is now down to a battle to avoid the drop.
Derry go into Sunday's clash with Donegal at the bottom of the table and in search of a much-needed win.
With wins over Mayo and Roscommon under their belt, Mickey McCann's men come to Dean McGlinchey Park with their status secured.
Derry made a battle back against Mayo in Round 1 before coming up short in an exciting finish in Castlebar.

Wise beyond his years. That's always been Cormac O'Doherty. From the U10 playing in goals for Slaughtneil's Féile team, with a stick almost as big as him, to playing in the field at home with his older brothers and sisters, he has always had to learn fast.
He sits relaxed in Owenbeg's canteen. Wearing a customary red baseball hat and the same ice cool look as standing over frees on pitches across Ulster and beyond.

Two former Derry captains have joined the county's senior hurling management team under Joint Head Coaches Dominic McKinley and Cormac Donnelly.
Former Antrim U21 captain Donnelly, known as 'Hippy', trained Slaughtneil for three seasons under Michael McShane. Along with Dominic 'Woody' McKinley, they were appointed as Joint Head Coaches in December, taking over from John McEvoy.
Donnelly will carry for a second season as Carrickmore manager after leading them to the Tyrone title in 2020.

It took an eternity for John McEvoy to emerge from the losing Derry dressing room after their championship exit to Offaly.
Minutes earlier, a knock on the Páirc Esler dressing room door, by an impatient Offaly official to return a previously swapped Derry jersey wasn't well received. Inside, an important post-season debrief was unfolding. One of those 'regroup for next year' or 'thanks for the effort, but I'm stepping down' type discussions.

Derry GAA have confirmed there is 'no update' on the process to appoint a new senior hurling manager.
Former Antrim manager and current Slaughtneil camogie coach Dominic McKinley has been sounded out by Derry about the post, while a management team, led by former Antrim hurler Michael McCambridge, have declared their interest in the vacancy.
John McEvoy stood down from the post earlier this month, after two seasons at the helm. He was appointed, under former Chairman Brian Smith's watch, to succeed Collie McGurk in December 2018.
