CENTRAL VALLEY â Adventist Health is offering the COVID-19 vaccine to patients at its medical offices throughout Adventist Health in the Central Valley.
For the past two weeks, staff has been calling eligible patients to inform them of the vaccine availability.
Effective April 1, anyone 50 years or older may receive the vaccine; and beginning April 15, anyone over the age of 16 will be eligible to receive the vaccine.
âSo far, weâve seen an overwhelming number of Adventist Health patients who are eager to receive the vaccine within our clinic setting,â says Dr. Raul Ayala, Ambulatory medical officer for Adventist Health in the Central Valley. âWeâre thrilled to be a part of the solution of vaccinating as many patients as possible, so we can end this pandemic and safely return to our daily routines.â

It looks like the late side of the crop is a little stronger and will have more volume than normal years so I’d expect to go deep into June if not the first part of July.”
Think of the word that you find the most offensive of
any word in the dictionary. Now, imagine living in a town by that name. It s part of your address, it s plastered across street signs and local shops, it s all around you. And there s nothing you can do about it.
Some residents of one town in Fresno County, California, town, don t have to imagine that. Because they live in a place called
Squaw Valley yes, really.
Squaw Valley is a 4,000-person town nestled along the eastern foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Its population is roughly 70 percent Caucasian, and only about 1.4 percent Native American. If you re doing the math, that s only about 60 Native Americans in the whole town, which may lend some guidance as to why the offensive name still stands.
